For my microacquarium project I used water source 12 and used plant sources A and B. On October 15, in class I was able to see what appeared to be a paramesium and 1 midge. Observations on this day were brief but after further observation on october 21, two midges were visible. Also using the book "Freeliving Freshwater Protozoa: A Color Guide," urocentrum were able to be identified. These are easily identifeied because the move like a spinning top. I was able to see 10 in one view of the microscope and I believe there to be more present in the acquarium. With the help of our lab instructor I was able to see copepods, rodofors, and cilia.
